Alternatives to Subscription Databases
Because the library's educational contracts with vendors specify that subscription databases may be used only for current classroom assignments, we have listed numerous alternative research resources available both in the community and on the web. These alternative resources can provide you with the same or similar information offered by the databases you found useful while still in school.
However, we have listed other methods for accessing information contained in the databases at Pepperdine University Libraries. Some of the databases are available through the public libraries. Many public libraries provide web-based access to users with library cards. Users must apply for library cards in person. Other databases are available for a fee from the database vendor.
