Library Instruction for English 101
English 101 library instruction builds on the skills introduced in First-Year Seminar. If you have not received the First-Year Seminar orientation to the Library prior to your English 101 class visit, please complete the Payson Library Virtual Tour and the Pepperdine University Libraries Catalog Tutorial .
English 101 library skills will concentrate on the following:
- distinguishing between scholarly journals and popular magazines
- evaluating information found on the Internet
- introducing LexisNexis Academic.
