Payson Library Fall Hours
Starting August 25th, normal library hours resume at Payson Library for the Fall semester. Pepperdine University Libraries will be closed the following dates: Monday, September 1st for Labor Day; Thursday, November 27th and Friday, November 28th for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

New University Campus Wide ID and Its Impact on Access to Library Services
In August 2008, the University begins to use a 9-digit CWID. All students, faculty, and staff are being issued new Pepperdine University ID cards to reflect a change from an 8-digit CWID to a 9-digit CWID. Previous 8-digit CWIDs will have a zero appended to the beginning of the CWID.
Your new University ID card will provide the same access to services as your old card. Please be aware, however, that your old University ID card and CWID will no longer be valid for access to library services.
For library services that require you to input your CWID (such as renewing books online, requesting interlibrary loans and Pepperdine Campus Loans, etc.), you must use the 9-digit CWID. You should add "0" in front of your old 8-digit CWID.

California Rare Book School Summer Courses
Looking to learn more about rare books and manuscripts this summer? In August 2008 the California Rare Book School (CALRBS) is offering 8 week long courses covering a broad range of topics. CALRBS students receive 40 hours of instruction over 5 days; the equivalent of an entire academic quarter in just one week. Our courses are taught by expert faculty and take full advantage of the unique collections of rare books, manuscripts and archival materials housed in greater Los Angeles.
