Pepperdine West Los Angeles and Irvine Campus Libraries Reopen!
The renovated Pepperdine West Los Angeles Campus library and computing facility officially reopened for business on Monday, July 28. Featuring improved and expanded seating areas, additional study rooms, and enhanced lighting, the location enables a seamless exchange between library resources and computer services.
The South Wing, which has been designated as a collaborative area for students, now offers two group study rooms and a brand new videoconferencing room. The North Wing invites students and faculty to enjoy areas reserved for quieter study space. Here, patrons will find ample private seating, traditional study tables, newly reconfigured computer workstation clusters and the three pre-existing group study rooms.
Additionally, the Irvine graduate campus library also went through renovations this summer and has reopened with a refreshing and warm ambiance. The most significant change to the space includes the reconfiguration of the furniture to more effectively meet student needs that include both individual study and collective or collaborative learning. The library space includes more comfortable seating and an updated look that will hopefully make students feel right at home.
