How to Obtain the Full-text of Articles
Art Full Text Search Examples:Example #1: I am searching for articles about sculpture and Florence.
Example #2: I need some articles about the architecture of churches and cathedrals in France.
Example #3: I am searching for articles about Claude Monet.
Citing Sources If you find articles in an online database such as Research Library or Academic Search Elite, it is very important that you cite your sources accordingly. That is, you must indicate in your bibliography that your articles came from an online database. Art Full-Text will automatically format citations in MLA or APA format. For additional resources on citing sources, please visit our page on Citation Guides and Grammar. Example: You have have searched for article on Claude Monet and you want your citations in MLA format. Select an article that interests you. Click the link on the left column for Print Email Save.
Click the plus sign next to Print Options
Select the records you want to cite, click the circle next to Brief Citation Display using..., select MLA with the pull-down menu and click Print.
Here is an example of the citation in MLA format: May, Stephen. "Lessons Learned: Monet's Influence on Theodore Robinson." American Artist 70 (2006): 48-53. Art Full Text. H. W. Wilson. **Insert Library name or system, City, State.** 26 May 2006 <http://vnweb.hwwilsonweb.com/>. |
