1984 Olympics Collection
The collection contains materials related to Pepperdine's involvement in the 1984 Olympics held in Los Angeles. Items include a newsletter, newspaper clippings, invitations, photographs, Pepperdine Olympic letterhead, other ephemera, and a 1984 Olympic torch. Also included are materials from the 1982 United States Olympic Academy VI, a conference held at Pepperdine to study the Olympic games.

Associated Women for Pepperdine Records
The Associated Women for Pepperdine (AWP) was started in 1958 by Helen Young and a group of women united in their belief of the importance of Christian education. AWP members conduct fundraising events in order to provide students with scholarships to attend Pepperdine University. The collection spans from 1958 to 2011 and includes administrative files, scrapbooks, and photo albums.

Banowsky (William S.) Papers
The collection contains professional and personal papers of William S. Banowsky dating from 1926 to 2009. The materials document his professional involvement with Pepperdine University, the University of Oklahoma, Gaylord Broadcasting Company, the Texas Superconducting Super Collider Authority, and National Medical Enterprises; political topics and professional services; and personal documents.

Batchelder (Ronald W.) Papers
Ronald W. Batchelder is a Professor of Economics at Pepperdine University, as well as an involved member of Pepperdine faculty organizations. The collection spans from 1986 to 2009 and consists of correspondence, minutes, notes, memorandums, reports, handbooks and calendars related to the University Faculty Council, Seaver Faculty Association, and the Social Sciences Division within Seaver College.

Casmir (Fred L.) Grade Books
The collection contains grade books maintained by Fred L. Casmir for his classes in the Department of Speech at George Pepperdine College and the Division of Communications at Pepperdine University. Casmir taught a range of speech classes as well as German language classes. Grade books range in date from 1956 to 1982.

Churches of Christ Church Programs and Weekly Bulletins
The collection includes weekly bulletins and church service programs from Churches of Christ located in California, Oregon, and Texas. The programs include Sunday service information, such as the schedule of service; announcements; prayer requests; Bible scripture; various articles from members of the church; and general information about the church and its services. These publications range from 1948 to 1968.

Davenport (David) Papers
The collection contains papers from David Davenport's time as president of Pepperdine University from 1985 to 2000, and includes earlier items from the president's office beginning in 1968. The collection contains donor files and subject/correspondence files on various topics. Items include mainly correspondence, photographs, and other printed materials such as brochures and reports.

The collection contains publications written by Hubert G. Derrick about his faith and personal history, and a scrapbook gifted to him by Pepperdine College international students in 1953. Materials date from 1953, 1986, and 1994; some materials are undated.

Fetzer (Joel S.) Papers
The collection includes materials collected by Joel Fetzer during his research trips to Germany, France, England, and Luxembourg in 2001 and 2008. Items include interview notes, audiocassettes and compact discs of interviews, correspondence, printed reference materials, and other printed materials used as research material for his two books.

Goff (Ivan) Collection of Television Scripts
Ivan Goff was an Oscar-nominated screenwriter who authored a number of successful movies from 1949-1960 with his writing partner, Ben Roberts. Goff and Roberts also wrote and produced several successful series for television in the 1960s and 1970s. The collection contains scripts and production notes from three television series in which Goff was involved as a writer or producer: Mannix, Nero Wolfe and The Rogues.

The collection contains material produced by and related to the Graziadio School of Business and Management (GSBM) at Pepperdine University. Items include recruitment materials; press clippings; a GSBM history guide written by Ruth Atteberry; alumni publications, event programs, and other printed material; class schedules; photographs; and audiovisual material. Hahn (Kenneth) Collection
Kenneth Hahn was a former Los Angeles County Supervisor and Los Angeles City Councilman who served for over 40 years, making him the longest serving elected official in California's history. The collection contains materials about Hahn's life and passing, including photographs, collected obituaries, and items from a public television program on Hahn produced after his death entitled A Salute to Kenneth Hahn.

Herschensohn (Bruce) Papers
Bruce Herschensohn is a writer and filmmaker involved in domestic and foreign politics. The collection includes correspondence, photographs, films, audio recordings, and other items created by him as an independent filmmaker, a Director at the United States Information Agency (USIA), a member of staff at the White House, and a political commentator. Materials date from 1949 to 2010.

The collection contains materials collected in the office of Larry D. Hornbaker during his time as an administrator at Pepperdine University. Files primarily relate to development (fundraising, donors, and donations), planning and construction of buildings and infrastructure on the Malibu campus, and materials generated from administrative work and activities at Pepperdine. The collection consists of subject files created by Norman Hughes during his time at Pepperdine as a professor of biology and Academic Dean of Seaver College. The collection consists of memorandums, correspondence, reports, and notes on subjects including councils and committees, faculty, student issues, course schedules, and departments within Seaver College. Materials in the collection span from 1972 to 1981.

Johnson (B. Lamar) Papers
B. Lamar Johnson was a highly distinguished educator known as “the father of the community college” due to his extensive contributions to the study and development of community college education. The collection contains correspondence, reports, speeches, administrative papers and publications from Johnson's tenure at Stephens College, UCLA, and Pepperdine University, as well as other educational organizations and activities with which Johnson was involved.

Stanley M. Kallis was a television writer and supervising producer. The collection consists of scripts from The Dick Powell Show and Royal Bay.

Lovell (James L.) Papers
James L. Lovell was a prominent member of the Churches of Christ, prolific author and editor of religious publications, and a member of Pepperdine University's Board of Trustees for 35 years. The papers contain correspondence, articles, minutes, notes, reports, photographs, slides, and copies of publications produced by Lovell throughout his life. Materials in the collection span from 1932 to 1999.

MacNair (C. Richard) Papers
The collection contains correspondence to and from C. Richard MacNair between 1973 and 1978 during his time as University Director of Teacher Education Programs and Associate Dean of the School of Education at Pepperdine University. The correspondence covers topics including degree programs offered by the School of Education, teacher education, and School of Education administrative duties.

Malibooz Collection
The Malibooz is a band that specializes in surf-style music. The collection includes records and CDs of the group's music, a DVD featuring the group playing, and memorabilia such as guitar picks and a hat.

Malibu Property Ownership Record Books and Real Estate Property Indexes
The collection contains seventeen property ownership record books for properties in Malibu, and eight Los Angeles County Real Estate Property Index books covering the areas of Malibu. The books have maps of property areas, owner lists, and other information. The books range in date from the 1950s to the 1980s.

Marowitz (Charles) Collection of the Malibu Stage Company
The collection includes Marowitz's files from the time he served as Artistic Director of the Malibu Stage Company from 1990 to 2002. Details of the company's stage productions, actors' resumes, script revisions, costume designs, donation lists, and correspondence are included.

J.M. McCaleb was a Christian missionary who spent nearly fifty years of service in Japan from 1892-1941. The collection includes scrapbooks, clippings, correspondence, and publications both written and compiled by McCaleb.

Metcalf (Edwards H. ) Papers
Edwards H. Metcalf was a collector was a Pepperdine University Board member and a T.E. Lawrence enthusiast and collector. He chaired the T.E. Lawrence Symposium in 1988 at Pepperdine University, which gave scholars the chance to discuss the life and words of T.E. Lawrence. The collection contains planning materials and documents from the symposium, as well as book collection records belonging to Metcalf.

The materials in this collection are photocopies of original correspondence, reports, and other items collected by Donald V. Miller, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Pepperdine College, related to administrative changes at Pepperdine in 1957 and 1958.

James C. (J.C.) Moore was an administrator for a number of colleges, serving most notably as controller and vice president for Pepperdine University. National School Safety Center Records
The collection contains materials from the National School Safety Center (NSSC), an organization developed in partnership with Pepperdine University and the U.S. Departments of Education and Justice to provide resources to combat violence in schools. The collection includes brochures and advertisements for NSSC; reports and resource papers addressing school safety issues; training materials; and publications.

Nicks (John D. Jr.) Papers
The collection includes files accumulated by Nicks and document his career in academia with a particular focus on his time at Pepperdine. Nicks held many roles at Pepperdine including professor, dean of the Pepperdine School of Business, vice president of academic affairs, and the vice president of development. Materials found within the collection include correspondence and administrative files, among others.

Oswald (Elinor) Collection of Southern California Tourism Ephemera
The collection includes a wide variety of tourist ephemera relating to Elinor Oswald’s professional career as a tour guide. The bulk of the collection consists of brochures, maps, artist files, travel books, magazine articles, newspaper clippings, itineraries, business records, photographs, slides, negatives, and other materials that helped Elinor plan the tours. The materials date from 1968 to 2009.

Penrod (James I.) Papers
The collection includes files collected from James I. Penrod's office between 1970 and 1985 during his time as Vice President for Systems and Planning at Pepperdine University. Materials include correspondence; organization charts; a systems and planning orientation manual; Pepperdine management conference papers; memos; committee meeting minutes and correspondence; an article by Penrod; and other items.

The Pepperdine Ambassadors Council (PAC) is a group of undergraduate students at Pepperdine University who serve as a link between the student body of Seaver College and the greater Pepperdine community. The Pepperdine Associates is a Pepperdine University support group comprised of donors, alumni, and community friends, started in 1977. The collection contains printed material, photographic material, and audiovisual material created by and collected about the Pepperdine Associates. The items are primarily related to annual Associates dinners, including programs, invitations, photographs, and video recordings.

Pepperdine College Freedom Forum Records
The Pepperdine College Freedom Forum was a three day seminar on promoting and defending American values co-sponsored by Pepperdine College and the National Education Program held annually on campus from 1959 to 1971. The collection consists of brochures, programs, press releases, correspondence, speech transcripts, news clippings, interviews, and photographs. Materials in the collection range from 1959 to 1985.

The George Pepperdine family papers are comprised of paper materials (such as correspondence, writings, and newspaper clippings), photographs, films, and memorabilia, dating from 1907 to 2002. Individuals represented in the collection include George Pepperdine, Lena Rose Pepperdine, Helen Louise Pepperdine, George B. Pepperdine, Florence May Pepperdine Crossley, Esther Louise Pepperdine Thurston, Marilyn Pepperdine, George Pepperdine II, and Wendell Pepperdine.

The collection contains files related to the accreditation of Pepperdine College and Pepperdine University from 1958 to 1993. Pepperdine University Computing Collection
Computers were first introduced at Pepperdine University in the late 1970s and early 1980s under Howard White's presidency. The collection contains records from multiple offices on campus related to computers and computing, including meeting minutes from the Data Administration Group and Interoffice Coordination Committee, the usage of the Ensystec 1000 system at Pepperdine, and a financial systems user manual.

The Due Process Committee (DPC) held deliberations from April to July of 1977, regarding the handling of project supervision when faculty members are terminated or take leaves of absence. Materials in the collection include transcripts of committee proceedings.

Pepperdine University Speeches

Restoration Movement Publications
The collection was created by Pepperdine University librarians and consists of publications associated with the Restoration Movement. The Restoration Movement is the umbrella term for the Churches of Christ, the Christian churches and churches of Christ, as well as the Disciples of Christ. The publications are international in scope and document the work of missions, churches, and childrens' homes.

Rindge and Adamson Family Papers
The Rindge and Adamson family have a long history in Malibu, California, dating back to 1892 when Frederick and May K. Rindge purchased the 13,300-acre Spanish land grant, Rancho Topanga Malibu Sequit, also known as Malibu Rancho, from Matthew Keller. In 1915, their daughter, Rhoda Agatha, married Merritt Adamson, the superintendent of the ranch, and together, they helped manage the family business. The collection contains correspondence, business papers, financial records, photographs, newspaper clipping, and ephemera from the various family members and spans from 1891 to 1967.

The Roots of American Order Television Adaptation Proposal
The collection contains materials related to the proposal to turn Russell Kirk's book The Roots of American Order into a documentary series on KCET, tentatively titled America's Roots.
