Archives and Special Collections

- Located in Room 326 on the second floor
- Houses the university rare book, manuscript and archival collections, including back issues of the student newspaper, the Graphic
- Materials cannot be checked out and must be used under the supervision of library personnel

The major collections held by the library include:
- Items published by members of the Churches of Christ
- The Jack Kemp Papers contain personal papers, letters, videos, audio recordings, and press materials that chronicle the political career of Jack Kemp.
- T.E. Lawrence Collection donated by Edwards H. Metcalf
- Doris Kenyon Mlynarski Collection of books about Nineteenth Century Paris
- Helen Pepperdine Collection of rare children's books
- Dr. E.V. Pullias papers, an early psychology professor and Dean of George Pepperdine College
- Joel Fetzer collection contains materials from his research for the book Muslims and the State in Britain, France and Germany donated by the author.
- James Hahn Collection of personal papers, letters, videos, and other documents that chronicle the life and times in public office of the former mayor of Los Angeles.
- The Pepperdine University Oral History Project.
- M. Norvel Young Collection of his manuscripts and papers, dating from 1990, donated by Helen Young. Consists of 82 linear feet of material.
- Pepperdine University Photo Collection of over 60,000 images depicting the history of Pepperdine University.
