  • Includes magazines, journals and newspapers
  • Located on the second floor
  • Journals are arranged alphabetically by title
  • Latest unbound issues are on display at the top of the stairs
  • Other recent unbound issues are available on nearby shelves
  • Bound journals are either on the second floor or on the first floor in Compact Shelving
  • Journals on microfilm are arranged alphabetically by title, followed by newspapers on microfilm

To find exactly where a journal is located, use Journal Search.

Journal Search will do the following:

  • Indicate if Pepperdine has print or electronic access to a periodical
  • If the periodical is available electronically, you will receive links to the databases that have that journal and the years of coverage
  • If the periodical is available in hard copy, you will see a link that states “Pepperdine University Print holdings”. If you click that link you will receive information about the years of the coverage, location and format-print or microfilm
