Reference Collection
- Arranged in Library of Congress (LC) call number order
- Reference books begin just beyond the Reference Desk and continue into the second room of reference stacks
- Encyclopedias and Maps are in a separate room with the sign "Atlases and Maps, Encyclopedias"
- Ask at the Reference Desk for help in locating any materials
The reference collection consists of materials that are consulted more frequently than the rest of the book collection. Therefore, reference books cannot be checked out for use outside the library. A subset of the collection called Ready Reference is located at the Reference Desk. When you show your Pepperdine ID, you may use these materials for 2 hours in the library.
Computer Resources:
- We have a scanner next to reference desk. Ask the librarians if you need assistance with the scanner.
- A color copier/printer is near the reference desk.
