Welcome to Pepperdine Libraries’s Collections page. Here you can learn about the vast amount of items accessible to our users.

 



General Collections

There are around 2 million items in our General Collections available to the Pepperdine community via our catalog. If you include items available through interlibrary loan, then that number increases a thousandfold. For your convenience, we have also implemented a one-step search for ebooks, e-videos, and physical items.

 



Boone Special Collections and University Archives

Raror book collection

Special Collections and University Archives consist of rare books, archives, and other historic documents that support research in multiple disciplines. Special Collections is also home to the extraordinary Saint John's Bible, the Malibu Collection, and the Churches of Christ Heritage Collection. Digital Publications

Pepperdine Libraries' Digital Publications is a repository for research and scholarly output selected by individual university departments and centers on campus. Our publishing platform, Digital Commons, provides instant access to full text works and preserves these materials in an open access secure digital environment.

 



Digital Collections

Malibu collection

Pepperdine Libraries' Digital Collections support discovery of and access to a wide variety of digital materials related to Pepperdine University's history and unique archival holdings. Items in the digital collections, which you can search using our publishing platform Quartex, derive from two main sources:

  • Special collections and archival material: Rare books, photographs, films, yearbooks, newspapers, and biographical collections of all types
  • Malibu historical materials: Newspapers, books, photographs, ephemera, and more from Pepperdine Libraries' Malibu Historical Collection
